Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Ages 5 - Adult
Whereas most martial arts focus on strikes, Gracie Brazilian jiu-jitsu is designed to give the person with the most developed technique the upper hand. Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu will give anyone the ability to overcome any attacker regardless of size and strength. Being armed with knowledge is what matters and our classes will teach you every detail that you need to know.
Students will learn positions, escapes, grabs, takedowns, falling, controls, and at the older ages, "tap-outs." Through demonstration, students learn a series of techniques. After thorough preparation, our students implement the new technique in a controlled and supervised session, where they have the opportunity to practice techniques against a resisting opponent, thereby increasing their proficiency in the sport with each class. Brazilian jiu-jitsu classes focus on learning both the essential mindset and impeccable techniques that make the discipline truly a force to be reckoned with.

Super Kids Karate Ages: 3-5
Our one of a kind Super Kids Preschool program is geared to introduce the Martial Arts to 3, 4 and 5 years old's in a fun and age appropriate way. Pre-school students work on listening, cooperation, balance, personal safety and beginning martial arts skills, all while having fun, being challenged and encouraged to succeed. Classes are 30 minutes in length. Our enthusiastic and nurturing staff looks forward to working with your child!
Junior and Adult Karate Ages: 6-Adult
Karate is a striking art using punching, kicking, knee strikes, elbow strikes and open hand techniques. These classes consist of a variety of Martial Arts techniques, including self-defense, sparring, martial arts weapons and forms. You will benefit from an increase in strength, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, situational awareness, strategic thinking and much, much more.
Some of our classes are broken up by ability level so all the students in class are learning the same material. As the student's ability level increases, so will the degree of difficulty in the classes, to continuously challenge the student. Progressing with other members will also build new lasting friendships as you get to know and challenge your fellow students! This class is for both boys/girls and men/women and families!

Students will enter the instructional area of the school, also called a studio or dojo, and may bow before stepping onto the mat. Students will line up in order of belt rank and bow to the instructor. The bow is a traditional sign of respect and signifies that they are ready to start learning.
All of our instructors are highly qualifies experts at what they do. They will both challenge and encourage the students, helping push them to achieve their goals.They will be willing to talk with you and your student if you have questions about class.
Classes always start with a warm up, which can include stretching, some light cardio and exercises that reinforce what the students are doing in class.
The instructor will lead the class through drills that the student will repeat to develop muscle memory and learn new skills. Later in class, students will use the skill they learned from the drill in a different context such as self defense, sparring or a game.
The class curriculum will ensure that students learn the fundamentals of martial arts. It will act as a guide in order to monitor and develop the necessary skills to prosper in the martial arts.
Students will once again line up and bow out to the instructor. Maintaining a respectful attitude throughout and after class is important in all martial arts.
